Konstantinos Psaroulakis received his B.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Crete, in March 2017. Currently, he is pursuing his M.Sc degree in Computer Science Department of University of Crete, under the supervision of Prof. Panagiotis Tsakalides. Apart from his studies in University of Crete, Konstantinos is pursuing a counterpoint degree (advanced music theory) and works as a flute tutor. Konstantinos is affiliated with the Signal Processing Laboratory (SPL) as a research assistant (postgraduate intern) and  his current work focuses on Acoustic Event Detection through Machine Learning for Surveillance Systems and User Generated Content (UGR’s) – Audio Enhancement for Audio Signal Processing.
